Writing a group influence paper was quite a learning experience. Combining writing styles with five others was a process that taught me about collaboration and compromise. As a writer myself, I learned to pay close attention to transitions between paragraphs when having to combine my work with my group mates. Additionally, I was able to strengthen my desire to contribute to evidence-based practice in the nursing profession through my research. I believe this assignment challenged me in ways I haven’t experienced before and because my understanding of evidence-based practice developed, I will be a better nurse in the future by ensuring the quality of care meets the standard my patients deserve.
